Our Volunteers:
KERRY MANLEY
I’m Kerry.
I’m 55 and have a husband and two ‘adult’ children - a daughter and my
son Kevin who is now 29. I also have 4 gorgeous grandchildren. Kevin battled
drug addiction for many years but recently his life has taken a dramatic
change for the better! In 2005, Kev developed a life threatening illness
and during a prolonged hospital admission became a Christian. On his discharge,
he went to live in a Christian rehab house and his life (and ours) changed
slowly but wonderfully. During the bad years, I was Kevin’s main
support (and for long periods his only one). But times have now changed
and our family is now reunited.
My
story
Here’s
my story. I hope it can help others to know they’re not alone and there
is hope.
